Joe Feczko Joins Firm as Group Vice President, Global Design

Donna Campanella joins firm as Executive Director, Global Media

NEW YORK, N.Y., December 12, 2006 – Avon Products, Inc. today announced two key hires in the Global Marketing Organization. Joe Feczko joined in September as Group Vice President, Global Design; Donna Campanella joined in November as Executive Director, Global Media.

“The addition of Joe Feczko and Donna Campanella underscores Avon's commitment to elevating our brand image and increasing our investment in advertising, important components of our Sustainable Growth turnaround plan,” said Geralyn Breig, Senior Vice President and Global Brand President of Avon Products, Inc. “We are bolstering our Global Marketing Organization by blending new expertise and talent with Avon's in-house brand, product and advertising experts.”

In his newly-created position, Mr. Feczko is responsible for Avon's image globally, from corporate identity to package design to creative development of Avon's brochure—the Avon “store” that showcases products to customers. Based in New York, Mr. Feczko reports to Ms. Breig.

Mr. Feczko joined Avon from Federated Department Stores where he spent ten years, most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer. Prior to Federated, Mr. Feczko was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Neiman Marcus, and Vice President of Visual Presentations with Bloomingdales before that.

As Executive Director of Global Media, Ms. Campanella oversees the media planning and buying process for Avon on a global scale. Ms. Campanella and Avon's team of regional media planning managers will manage relationships with Avon's media agencies and alliance partnerships globally to secure media innovation and ensure consistency in advertisement placement and practices. Ms. Campanella reports to Michael Schwartz, Group Vice President, Global Insights and Marketing Intelligence, and is based in New York.

Before joining Avon, Ms. Campanella was Director/Team Leader, Media at Pfizer Inc, one of the leading national advertisers in the United States. She oversaw pharmaceutical advertising in the US and globally during her tenure there. Prior to Pfizer, Ms. Campanella was the Media Director at Sony Electronics, and held senior vice president roles at Lintas and Young & Rubicam before that.
